ADOPT AGENDA:
The
agenda for the November 2, 2010 meeting was adopted with the following change:
Remove CDI Farm Bill Report as a
business item – no report to file this month
APPROVAL OF OCTOBER 5, 2010 MINUTES:
76-10 A motion was
made by Sanders, seconded by Kilpatrick to approve the minutes of the October 5,
2010 meeting of the Fremont Soil & Water Conservation District
Commissioners. The motion passed with all in favor.
APPROVAL OF TREASURER’S REPORT:
77-10 It was moved
by Sanders and seconded by Mitchell to approve the Treasurer’s report of the
Fremont Soil and Water Conservation District. Motion carried unanimously.

Ø Levy Watersheds
78-10 Sanders made
a motion to levy the watersheds for 2011 as follows:
The
motion was seconded by Kilpatrick and passed with all in favor.
Ø Scholarship Application
79-10 A motion was
made by Sanders, seconded by Kilpatrick to approve the scholarship application
as presented. The motion passed unanimously. Grebert will get the application
on the website and also send to the five schools.
Ø District Initiative Agreement - IDALS/SWCD Farm Bill X
Funding
District
Initiative Agreement between IDALS/SWCD for Farm Bill X funding was received
for signature. The executed document will be sent to Des Moines 11/03/2010.
Ø Iowa Public Television Donation
80-10 Mitchell
made a motion to donate $25.00 to Iowa Public Television. Sanders seconded the
motion that carried with all in favor.
The board was given information on a wetland violation in Fremont County.

Watershed
Inspection
81-10 Sanders made a motion, seconded by Mitchell to pay $45.00 per site to inspect Hamburg, Hound Dog, Ledgewood, and Simpson watersheds. Motion passed unanimously. Gross will ask Seth Moore if he is interested in doing the inspections, if not, then Brian Ettleman will be asked.
