Fremont SWCD Internship/Scholarship

Fremont Soil and Water Conservation District offers up to five $1,000.00 internship/scholarships to area seniors.  Applicants must be a resident of Fremont County and a graduating senior.  Applications are available on the SWCD website www.fremontswcd.org, from high school counselors/principals or at the Fremont SWCD office.

 

 


Derek Aistrope is a 2008 graduate of Fremont Mills Community High School. He is continuing his education at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa majoring in Agricultural Engineering. Derek is the son of Kevin and Vickie Aistrope.

 

 

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

Megan Dial graduated with the Shenandoah High School Class of 2008. She is attending the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa to continue her education in journalism and art/photography. Megan is the daughter of Todd and Melanie Dial.

 

 

 

Brian Nebel is furthering his education in the field of Architecture/Landscaping. He graduated from Farragut Community High School with the Class of 2008. Brian is the son of Gary and Pam Nebel.

 

 

 

 

Emily Sheldon is a 2008 graduate of Sidney Community High School. She is continuing her education at Bryan LGH College of Health Sciences in Lincoln, Nebraska pursuing a career in nursing. Emily is the daughter of Patrick and Angela Sheldon.

 

 

 

 

Ciarra Travis graduated with the Sidney Community High School Class of 2008. She is continuing her education at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa majoring in business management with a minor in computer science. Ciarra is the daughter of Tim and Jill Travis.
