	Two Rivers Project II:
The Fremont County Soil & Water Conservation District will hire a full-time wetland specialist to coordinate the Two Rivers Project.  The specialist will administer and promote the numerous wetland programs available to landowners.  They will partner with the other organizations and agencies to provide technical and financial assistance in the restoration and creation of wetland habitat.  The specialist will facilitate numerous outreach efforts including the publication of a quarterly newsletter, brochure, and several informational meetings.  The scope of work is divided into seven work elements.

Text Box: Winter is now officially upon Fremont County, with a snow falling on the final day of 2006. Most of the fall migration is over, with the Mallards bringing up the rear. Snow geese did not move through Fremont County this year, but instead moved to the west. It looks like it will be another mild winter, but you never can tell.

Easements:
Bob Golden:  Forney worked with this landowner to design 15 acres of shallow water excavations. The easement is made up of 100% hydric soil and is very flat, so it was just a matter of choosing a location and flagging out a work area.
