	Two Rivers Project II:
The Fremont County Soil & Water Conservation District will hire a full-time wetland specialist to coordinate the Two Rivers Project.  The specialist will administer and promote the numerous wetland programs available to landowners.  They will partner with the other organizations and agencies to provide technical and financial assistance in the restoration and creation of wetland habitat.  The specialist will facilitate numerous outreach efforts including the publication of a quarterly newsletter, brochure, and several informational meetings.  The scope of work is divided into seven work elements.

Text Box: The fall here in Fremont County has been an unusually wet one, at least compared to the last few that were very dry. This fall moisture has given some relief to our drying wetlands just in time for the fall migration. A cool September has already pushed some early waterfowl through the area. Hopefully, for the sake of these migrating waterfowl, the water will remain throughout the fall to provide a resting point on their long flight south.

Easements:
Andrew Rasmussen:  A plan was recently developed by Brian Holmes, NRCS Engineer, for this WRP easement. The plan includes: installation of an inline water control structure, a ditch plug, 5.8 acres of shallow water excavation, a dike, and two additional channels to provide
