On April 23rd, high school biology students from Sidney were asked to partake in an Earth Day Celebration that involved planting trees. The event took place behind the high school around the softball and baseball fields. The students planted 30 conifers, 150 shrubs, and nearly 60 deciduous trees, which in time will help with wind protection and create wildlife habitat.
