Every year the Fremont County Soil and Water Conservation District is proud to give up to five-$1,000 scholarships/internships to graduating high school seniors who live within Fremont County. These scholarships/internships are paid to the students over a two-year period. A minimum of eight hours internship is required by each recipient prior to receiving the first installment of the award.

Scholarship/internship winners are selected on a basis of extracurricular and community activities, career goals (agricultural fields are not required), and response to a conservation based question.
